About the author

Lara is a director, actress and writer. Acting highlights include "Rules of Engagement", recurring roles on "Important Things with Demetri Martin" and "That 70’s Show", and the Jack Black comedy, "Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny". Lara's directorial debut, Me, You, A Bag & Bamboo (distributed by Shorts International), won Best Family Film at the Canada International Film Festival and the Viewer's Choice award at the Ovation Short Film Contest, which led to a televised screening. Lara is making her mark in the comedy world by directing viral sketches. Highlights include Timmy and Pink Sweat (distributed by Snag Films), both of which Lara directed, co-wrote, produced and starred in.
