Confession: there are a few of us here at Comediva who have a burning Real Housewives addiction. If you’re a Bravoholic, (we’re looking at you, Eddie Redmayne!) then you know the kind. You aspire to give a good read like Nene, or snore like Vicki when your friends bore you. Every time you’re in the wine section, you keep an eye out for Ramona Pinot Grigio. You daydream about trekking to Beverly Hills just to eat at Sur or Villa Blanca or PUMP, all in hopes of running into Lisa Vanderpump, or someone from the Vanderpump Rules cast. RHOC, RHONY, RHOA, RHONJ, RHOBH, we’ll take them all! If you didn’t recognize any of the references in these last few sentences, you best stop reading now.
…But if you did, then you’re in the right place.
We’ve tackled everything from Star Wars to Downton Abbey with our “Cheesy Pick-Up Lines” series, but this is our first foray into reality. So why not take on the juggernaut, the Real Housewives franchise that we love so much? And in the spirit of all things Bravo, they are punny, cheesetastic, and quotable. (We hope Andy and the WWHL writers would be proud of our punning, for sure!) A few of them might even make a decent Real Housewives tagline, lol!
