The artist formerly known as “J. Lo” recently announced her show idea, The Fosters, has been picked up by a major network. Aside from the randomness that is J. Lo Producing Television Shows, The Fosters is particularly interesting as it centres around a diverse family with two lesbiarchs [aka matriarchs who get down with each other].
The show will be the third in the last few years alone to follow the trials and tribulations of queer-headed families — the others being Modern Family and The New Normal — which must mean we’re finally diving into a post-Ellen world where Coming Out is So In.
