I usually find animated animals obnoxious and extraneous, but this video happened to strike a cord with me. It is such an important piece of filmmaking that I’ve even decided to set up a mandatory screening here at the Comediva offices, so that my employees can glimpse the injustices that occur at other business establishments — and finally comprehend just how blessed they are to work under my thoughtful and loving leadership.
For example, when Frida forgot to prepare payroll for her department, I left a BIG RED memo on her desk that said “Attn: Frida – prepare departmental payroll, ASAP.” I simply lectured her about the ramifications of neglecting business affairs, especially payroll, because without payroll OUR BOOKS ARE NOT BALANCED, OUR FINANCES OUT OF ORDER AND NO ONE GETS PAID!
Yet, despite her mistake, I would never bite her head off like the angry male dinosaur boss in this fine HR film. And that’s why all my employees at Comediva should be happy and grateful to work at this female-oriented establishment, where we communicate with words and never ever exercise physical abuse. That is, unless our man-slave forgets to take proper notes and he needs to be taught a lesson. Or that time Frida and Katharine had to settle a dispute, or … well, you see what I mean, right?
