Skittles and I have lots of interests in common, not the least of them eating chicken together. And we’re particularly fond of Chick-Fil-A. Their lemonade reminds me of my Yamama’s, and the down-home Southern charm is…well, charming!
So I was delighted to see this cute video which shows beautiful women of all shapes and sizes enjoying eating chicken. Our culture all too often degrades women who enjoy eating, but this promotional music video promotes healthy body image. These women aren’t stick-thin models, and they aren’t ashamed to show that they eat, too! And I love to see that the men they hot-tub with (their husbands, I presume) agree that they’re real, lovely women. It’s just like my Yamama says, “Every woman deserves a husband who loves her, even the chubby ones.” Share this video with all your friends! Spread the word! Promote real beauty!
Wow, I feel really empowered. Is this what it feels like to be one of the world’s movers and shakers? I can’t wait to hear how proud everyone in the office is of me for taking a stand on women’s issues!
