About the author

Vanessa Mizzone hails from New Jersey and has been performing in Los Angeles as an actor and comedienne for the past 9 years, after moving here from NYC. Last year, she wrote, produced and performed in her comedy show ALL YOU CAN EAT!: The Vanessa Mizzone Comedy Buffet that ran at the ACME Comedy Theatre. She is an acting member of L.A.'s prestigious theatre company The Actors' Gang, headed by Tim Robbins. At The Actors' Gang, she has performed in Embedded (National Tour), Blood! Love! Madness!, Drums In The Night, Pericles on The High Seas, as the Queen in Gulliver's Travels, Emily in Our Town and most recently as Elmire in Tartuffe. She recently completed the Groundlings School Comedy Program and has trained with comedy stars such as Lewis Black and Richard Kind. Vanessa's latest film Some Guy Who Kills People with Kevin Corrigan is currently making the festival circuit and her episode of NBC's LOVE BITES will air this June. She has her Masters of Fine Arts in Acting from UCLA and continues to develop new work with her creative team.
