Though there are some exceptions I’m sure, I think it’s safe to say that most people’s favorite movies stray far from the horror category. Not because scary movies are bad…well…maybe that IS the case, sometimes…okay, most times? However you feel about scary movies, just know that there are options if you do get the urge to catch the latest oh-no-my-house-is-haunted flick but don’t feel like sitting through three hours of horror in the theater. If ever you’re dying to see what the big fuss is about, just turn to the Internet!
The Internet is great because it allows us to experience scary movies bit by bit. For example, I didn’t see any of the Paranormal Activity movies but thanks to search engines, I watched all of the scariest and most talked about scenes AND had engaging conversations with everyone who actually went and saw the movies in theaters.
And the best part of it all? The Internet also gives us scary movie parodies – hilarious versions of the movies we’re too scared to watch!
