1. “Rolling in the Diapers”

There’s a fire starting in your belly
Reaching a screaming pitch and it’s bringing me out my sleep
Unfor-tu-nately, I can smell it, this I feared
Go ahead and let it out, and I’ll lay your sh*t bare

See how I’ll clean every inch of you
Don’t underestimate the things a mom will do

The smell of your poo, reminds me o’ my youth
It keeps reminding me of my lost freedom
The smell of your diapers, they leave me breathless
I can’t help feeling
I should have called your naaaaaa-anny
Rolling in the diiiiiiii-apers

2. “Nanny Has It”

She, she ain’t real
She ain’t gon’ be able to love you like I will
She is a stranger
You and I shared labor, or don’t you remember?
Sure, she’s got the toys, but baby is that really what you want?

Bless your heart, you got your mouth on that bottle
She’s only 9-to-5, and, boy, she’s going home

She heats your formula, when my bosom is sore
Now nanny has your love, I ain’t got it no more…
Nanny has it!
Nanny has it!

3. “Rocking Cradles”

I’ve made up my sleep, and just when I think it’s over
I’m wrong and you’re right, I need to rock you longer
This ain’t done, I know it’s insomnia
But if I sing you a song, It’ll never be enough
‘Cause it was not the right one
And rockin-my-baby’s what I need to do if I get you to sleep before 2…

Should I give up, or should I just keep rocking cradles?
Even if you keep crying?
Or would it be a waste, even if I knew you’d scream
Should I give up, or should I just keep rocking cradles?
Even if you keep crying?

4. “Set Fire to the Baby Formula”

I let it fall, the bottle
And as it fell, your cries rose to claim it
It was dark, and I was sleepy
Until I turned on the stove and it saved me

Your cries, they’re strong
But my eyes were far too weak
To hold you in my arms
Without falling to fatigue

But here’s a side to you that I always knew, always knew
All the things you throw, they were brand-new! Brand-new!
And the games you play, Baby Einstein for the win, for the win

But I set fire to the baby formula
Watched it pour as it touched my wrist
Let it heat, while you cry
Cause I heard you screaming out its name, its name

5. “Burpy Shoulder”

You do it close to my neck
And the things I smell don’t make sense
So what’s the nanny been feedin you then?

Must feed him soy
Don’t turn your head ’round, like it’s my fault
See I can see that look in your eyes
The one that makes me queazy every time

You hit me with your burpy shoulder
Whenever you look at me I wish the nanny was here
You shower me with burps made of baby food
Whenever you look at me I wish I was her

6. “Tired Mom”

Hold my hand
While you squeeze it tight
Who knew you were so strong?
But now I’m it now

And you’re in my heart now
With your giggles, coos and ga gas
I’m frightened of your terrible twos
Watching toys scatter the floor

On my life
Babies are hard as hell to raise
Fighting with the night
The night’s your favorite time
I’m tired, your mommy
This boob’s just not enough
Fed up with the night feedings
Please let me take a nap
